Elliott Bathen was born in 1938. He died of a rare form of lung cancer in 2004. Elliott was a very special person, with a heart of gold. Beside the void of a golden friendship, he leaves a sweetheart of a wife, Patty. Below is a picture and poem which describes Elliott very well. Next a picture of better times with Elliott and Patty with Gloria and I at the Dixie Stampede in Branson, MO. The picture of Elliott in the clouds was made several years ago. He loved to show it around. I added myself as his friend after his passing to show my tribute and friendship for him. He always wore his "Hee Haw" coveralls when working around the house.
